CD Recording Component
The CD Recording Component is an industry standard COM Component. Its interface is tailored for ease of use with Visual Basic and Delphi. It provides high level, easy to use functionality which makes easy work of recording files to CDR or CDR-W media.
The CD Recording Component enables third party developers to write applications which can write audio and data files onto CDR or CDR/W media. The CD Recording Component provides a Programmer's Guide that includes comprehensive API documentation and sample applications. The CD Recording Component is a run time component that you distribute with your application to enable access to CD Recording functions on systems which have MMC compatible CD Recording Devices.
There are several benefits to using the CD Recording Component for developing your applications. Besides making it extremely easy to access SCSI and ATAPI peripherals, the CD Recording Component uses SCSI++ technology that enables you to write a single application which will run on all flavors of Windows 32 bit operations systems.
